Biography

Ms. Anna Zhang graduated from North China Coal Medical University with a degree in Rehabilitation Therapy. She completed her residency at Capital Medical University Beijing Xuanwu Hospital. She completed postgraduate programs in Medical Psychology and Child Development & Education Psychology at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academic of Science (CAS), in 2015 and 2021, respectively. Before joining Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital, she worked at a private medical institution specializing in neuro medicine and rehabilitation in Beijing.

Ms. Zhang specializes in pediatric and neuro rehabilitation, with over 10 years of experience in the evaluation and intervention of children’s speech development, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other speech disorders such as stuttering. She also specializes in neurological rehabilitation after stroke and traumatic brain injuries, including the treatment of aphasia, dysphasia, swallowing disorders, and cognitive disorders. Additionally, Ms. Zhang is skilled in applying non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS), including transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) technology to neuro rehabilitation.

Ms. Zhang holds certificates in Mental Health Instruction, Children’s Psychological Counseling Training, Oral-Motor Therapy, and pediatric speech-language delay rehabilitation. She has published multiple academic papers in core medical journals.

Ms. Zhang is a member of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medicine Association Speech Rehabilitation Committee, Rehabilitation Committee and Severe Rehabilitation Committee, and the Beijing Rehabilitation Society Neuro Rehabilitation Committee.
