Anna Zhang received her Bachelor of Science in rehabilitation therapy from North China Coal Medical University, and later graduated from Institute of Psychology Chinese Academy of Sciences as part-time postgraduate, majoring in medical psychology. She completed her clinical internship at Beijing Xuanwu Hospital, which developed her expertise in the rehabilitation of cerebrovascular diseases. Before joining Beijing United Family Rehabilitation Hospital, she served in Beijing Puhua International Hospital.
Anna Zhang holds certifications of oral motor therapy, pediatric speech delay rehabilitation, and mental health instruction. With her rich clinical experience, Anna specializes in neurological rehabilitation, including the treatment of aphasia, swallowing and cognitive disorders after stroke and traumatic brain injury, as well as in dysarthria caused by multiple-system atrophy (MSA), multiple sclerosis (MS), and Parkinson’s disease. She also specializes in the evaluation of and intervention in pediatric language development. Additionally, Anna is skilled in applying non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS), including transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to neurorehabilitation.
