The Gastroenterology and Hepatology specialties were established at BJU in May 1999. The team consists of leading full-time and part-time specialists from the Chinese and international communities. With more than 10 years of experience providing high-end, international- standard and compassionate care, the team is equipped to diagnose and treat the full spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatic problems. For chronic or difficult-to-treat gastrointestinal issues in particular, we are proud to offer anesthesiology services to facilitate painless endoscopies.

We are also proud to be leaders in the field of early cancer detection and treatment. The cooperation of specialists who provide endoscopy services, oncological services, laparoscopic surgeries, minimally-invasive surgeries and regular surgeries helps our department ensure that all your gastrointestinal irregularities are effectively addressed and treated.
